Went to the Lord of the Rings exhibition today!!! Check out photos here as well as Ning's blog for our very own merchandise catalogue. We went bright and early in the morning and when we reached there the exhibition wasn't open yet... so we waited outside with this funky looking girl and a guy in office clothes... just 4 people sitting there like idiots. All from different walks of life, but all with the same goal... to tell the truth, the exhibition was a bit of a disappointment lar. Don't want to complain too much, but it didn't really live up to it's hype. I think only really hardcore LOTR fans should go- it was really something to see all the actual costumes and weapons- but there was basically static displays, so the $16 price tag would be a wee bit much. But still! There was this female staff member who was probably a big fan, she kept talking to us and asked us stuff like whether we had found the 3 elven rings yet! That's the coolest thing, like bringing all the fans together.

To Mel: Really glad that you called and I'm glad you had a blast at your formal (and didn't have to resort to charlie, haha) WANT to see photos especially of L***... hee.

Wei wei, sad that you couldn't go for sakae with us... hope you're feeling better :)
