Was it nothing more than just a memory?
Did she really know? How did Jack go? How the ending could be so terribly sad, yet beautiful, and I could walk out of the cinema with a huge smile on my face. It stays with you for days after you've experienced it. the silences, how real it felt. How you've got to really pay attention to pick up every little gem. Show don't tell.
Everyone keeps going on and on about how much they loved each other, but it was also so incredibly selfish, it makes me kind of angry. Are you really authorized to mess up the lives of the people around you if you're in love? Is it advocating that the world revolves around me mentality?
It's really fun to discuss with others, and to hear their take on it. Though I have yet to get a straight male's opinion...
