I remember praying around a year ago to God quite earnestly about how much I wanted to grow as a person. I felt that I had been prone to thinking that I have grown, when in actual fact I have been revolving on the spot, same old person, same old bad habits. I was sick of it.

Right now, all I can say is that it is a living testimony of this:

If you remain in Me and my My words remain you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.

(John 15:7)

I'm still very much in the middle of this journey/race, but it's all pretty amazing, when I look back (:
