Will be going for my chem prac in a few hours. I've spent the whole weekend studying for it but I'm just praying the design experiment won't be too impossible. I wish that it'll be a QA design but I doubt that, considering they gave a QA for the prelim last year. Anyway just RELAX and keep cool.
The world is getting smaller and smaller. Yesterday my sis chanced upon Adam Duritz's blog. And in a 1999 post, he was talking about how "everyone was being really unfair to Lance and Danielle". My present idol standing up for my old idol and his girlfriend? That is really surreal. (Especially since their music is worlds apart.)
I've had fun learning to play Holiday in Spain on the piano anyhow.

Anyway Min Li lent me that new Neil Humphrey's book, "Scribbles from the Same Island". She's like a fan of his and bought both his books and wrapped them too. Anyway I'm glad she did so I can borrow them! :) I love Neil Humphreys! He's just damn funny. And mum bought me some delicious noodles for lunch from Chinatown with this big gooey scrambled egg and prawns on top :) :) Studied a little maths and now awaiting the Singapore Idol results. Ha.
Please- just don't hate me. I do that myself enough.
Confusion never stops
Closing walls and ticking clocks
Gonna come back and take you home
I could not stop but you now know, singing
Come out upon my seas,
Cursed missed opportunities
Am I a part of the cure?
Or am I part of the disease? singing
You are, you are, you are
You are, you are, you are
And nothing else compares
And nothing else compares
And nothing else compares
You are

So tired I just feel like lying on the floor and sleeping. Was pretty much snoozing off while trying to explain stats to my sister. Sorry to say so but the RJ notes suck totally- they assume that the students know everything. No wonder my poor sis is so muddled.
Wanted to document the SITUATION that has been going on in my neighbourhood lately. Over the past month(s) there's been construction both in front and behind my house. Turn into my road, keep OFF the footpath to avoid the construction, but walk at the SIDE of the path and watch for the cars that keep turning in. Reach home, walk into your bedroom, open the blinds and try not to stare at the construction worker that is a couple metres away, on the same level as you. Aside from the drilling and banging and whatnot that goes on pretty much permanently, there are Chinese workers blasting YES 9.33 at you, as well as Indian workers singing something very tribal. [Though my sister did point out that he had a pretty good singing voice.] My mum heard, from our neighbour's maid probably, that they say hi to maids and attempt to take photos of them with their camera phones when they walk past. And on Saturday I came back to find a newly erected portable traffic light planted in front of my neighbour's house, and workers merrily having a picnic lunch right outside. Today I arrived home at close to 7 and the construction was still in full steam, with some fresh barriers and newly dug holes all along the road outside our row of houses. This goes on until about 8. It's not so bad. You just get a nice industrial atmosphere with an authentic dusty air to top it all off.
There's a Justin Timberlake song that goes
You're out of this world,
'cept that you're not green
Not very romantic, hmm?
What else could I have done?
