I've arrived in Charlottesville and I sit here typing in the computer lab as Ning tries to get her last paper done. I had the best omelette in the world for breakfast at Runk, which is supposed to be the best cafeteria at UVA. The weather has been sunny, cool and perfect ever since I arrived, the only sound one can hear for miles is that of birds chirping, miles of green grass all around you, not a cloud in the sky. The main lawn area has students lying on the grass in the sun, chasing after pet dogs, playing cards at a table set up on the grass. The school grounds are Old America beautiful, charming and warm, and I'm feeling nothing short of glorious.

I'm off to get away from it all in a couple of hours.

Something to tide you all over in my absence, (which of course, has never been the case, nudgenudgewinkwink) which will bring you hours of astonishing beauty, easy eloquence and laughter, love and sincerity:



Marauder fanfiction (I know), for the fellow Potterheads. But nonetheless, that is my happy place. I've never read anything so lovingly written. So do join me there. If you want something that makes you want to quote chunks and chunks of, (I just did, somewhere in this paragraph) and rekindle your faith in the Power of Prose, jump on the bandwagon. Now.

I'm over the hazy, happy, irresponsible feeling, but still. Life is all right.

Confidence is very sexy, especially when unexpected.
